PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BBB Lofts is a brand new residential development in Golden Hill, built on a vacant lot overlooking all of Southern San Diego with views from Mt. Cowles to the night lights of Tijuana and the Coronado Islands and Coronado Bridge. Two individual buildings house loft style apartments with a modern aesthetic. These unique spaces are quiet and comfortable, with a surplus of light and cross ventilation. Individual and communal outdoor spaces as well as planter boxes and retaining walls are formed with reused Fir and Oak pipe cribbage. Other materials include colored CMU, cement board lap and panel siding, ACX plywood, rough-sawn redwood, copper flashing and colored glass.

SCOPE OF WORK
Ai Camp Building developed, designed, and built this project as a long-term investment income property. Ai Camp Building found and purchased the vacant lot, then crafted a design and sheparded it through the City of San Diego permitting process. After putting together a financing package, construction began. In collaboration with North Park Woodworks, Ai Camp Building spent 11 months building the two separate buildings as well as installing all landscaping and hardscaping throughout the project. Full tenancy was established one year after breaking ground. |
